Just call me a party animal

Here is my Friday night planned....I can feel the jealous vibes coming through the internet waves.

I so need a good night out! But for now i'm quite happy (maybe a little smug) that my house is currently spotlessly clean, with all the washing done and ironed.

Just wait until I tell you what I have planned for my saturday night...

Watercolour sunset

The sky was beautiful tonight over our garden. It looked like someone had got their brushe's and paints out and watercoloured the sky.

Today was a much better day than yesterday, I woke up completely refreshed and yesterdays blues had gone away.

This is most likely helped by the fact we no longer have a dripping tap. It's been 3 weeks of Chinese torture! Finally had a lovely lady plumber called Hannah come over and do her thang. Its bliss to have silence in the house!

Paws for thought

Hello! I've been away from blip for a week, i've been taking my photo's but haven't had a chance to upload them. Neither have I had a chance to look at anyone else's photo's, so in the next few days i'll be catching up with everyones. I've back blipped all my photo's, take a look and let me know your thoughts.

Rough day today. I seemed to have to meet quite a few challenges head on and not let things get to me. I guess you can't have a happy day every day.

I'm quite thank ful that i'm not a depressive person. I know many people who have to live with this illness and it's awful for them. I do how ever, i'm sure like everyone, have "down days" and this is definitely one of them.

Well thats how I feel until I get home, to my husband and the kitty. Then everything seems to feel much better.

I've just seen these men naked....

When I took this photo, I had just come back from seeing The Full Monty at Mayflower in Southampton. I have never come out of a theatre show before where people are walking out wiping the tears of laughter away!! It was hilarious, I had a blast and mum picked the best seats - 6th row from the front, so we didn't miss much!!

It reminded me why I love going to the theatre so much and made me realise that the last time I went was 18 months ago! Back when I was doing me Performing Arts A level, it felt like I went to a production every week. I miss that.

Chloes 1st birthday

Another gorgeous sunny day, (well until 3 o'clock it was) which was great as it was time for the second BBQ of my weekend as the whole famiy were getting together to celebrate Chloe's (my Neice) 1st birthday.

I did take loads of photo's of Chloe but I always feel a little awkward putting someone elses child's photo's on the internet. You can however see her in this photo, sat quite contently on the right of the photo. I picked this photo as I thought it showed the relaxed family feeling of the day. I think little one was quite taken aback by all the attention she was getting and having everyone around but she soon got used to it. She certainly has some amazing presents, I was eyeing up her ball tent - it was incredible! Shame I would only be able to fit my leg in there.

First unshy portrait

Today was one of those perfect days, unplanned but full of happy memories.

The sun was shining, which always puts me in a happy mood. Matt and I walked into town where we wondered about, picked up a few bits and bobs. We hardly eat out as trying hard to save the pennies but we treated ourselves to a lovely humus and falafel wrap with a salad for lunch and relished every bite. Then we meandared home, after watching a few of the Saturday buskers, which there seemed to be so many off and all were great. One women tried to get me to salsa to her friends band! I went all shy as there were so many people about but actually thinking about it, it would of been fun.

While walking home Matt and I smelt so many BBQ's that we decided to have one ourselves. We realised this was our very first BBQ with just the two of us. We have a south facing garden, its tiny but it's perfect in the evenings when the sun is going down. So we sat outside, watching the sun, eating our way through way too many Sausages and laughed like silly kids. As I said, perfect!

So what do you think of the red hair!?

Going red

Thought my hair needed a revamp and on a whim I went and brought a red colour called Red Chilli and put it on.

I will blip the results.
